Instead of even attempting to understand what he was proposing and then point out where they thought he was incorrect, they just dismissed him outright and made it no secret that they didn't understand his work and made no effort to even try to.<br />If that is his (and others) reception then as silly as it sounds a "forum of crackpots" may be a productive place for those "outside the mainstream" to at least have a place to discuss ideas.<br />Looking around at the society and the planet, I think we need "crackpots"--what we're doing now doesn't seem to be working out...
