*1. There is no reason to expect in the global intelligibility of numbers that the center of some reasonable set of them forms regular and symmetric shapes. It can be the case that such are quasi or semi-regular as in the solids.

*2. Even in the case where of so many objects all connected to each other can we know that they form a regular system of connections, thus conserve some aspect of energy by symmetry. Yet such simplicity of simplexes may seem the higher ideal and what is left over as defects of mass or space moves or jumps a bit, intelligibility simply that higher things are successors greater than the lonely generating numbers even moving within their local structure.

Thinking about higher space can be as exhausting as it is thrilling- and boring. But I do not mean to suggest I am in a negative mood here. I wrote a poem called Umbra or shadows today, and was a little down thinking my state left me not I my state for all the changes in the laws concern veterans affect me in the moment but I lived longer. The mood did not last long as I strive to keep at creative work.

Now this post is most clear and addresses concerns I have had long before any of this becomes possibly newsworthy. This includes the appeal to "origins" as the reason we exist rather than the total zero balances of matter-antimatter.

You understand the issue and for the most part I agree with things you say in the article.

Nevertheless there are deeper symmetries and violations of these twists and turns in the shadows of space and on whatever relation to ideas of energy or global shifts of the fundamental constants or paradigms of worldviews the simple mathematics of it, and the logic of the topology stands well beyond the physics of our time.

The question of origins itself is neither asked nor well formulated at our present time - science may ask about it but should be too sensible to make blind assertions to defend or be iconoclast to some system of dogma.

Dimensions and Generational Shift

I am also rather interested in the 240 square faces in the six dimensional case as this number is so prevalent in this arithmetic of structures (for a game perhaps).
Interestingly, beyond the 1 as a generator in 3^n pascal's triangle there is the even number sequence and beyond that the tiling in two space edges match the edges of an orthogon in the corresponding dimension but these correspond only beginning with four edges.

My papers are not usually this messy and free flowing but I thought it better to post these note from yesterday and today raw. Notice the search for reasonable new symbols and notations which in creative moments are like branching anthers or flowers.

I may post further on these notes, in drawings and in the mathematics. I will not translate into the usual number theory conventions as that is obvious and the picture of things is more easily understood.

Given the Euclidean parallel quasic motions and the KLMN notations as a sort of matrix one can generalize this linearly to include variations on the coherence of the quasic n-dimensional fields for space extensions not necessarily orthogonal.

So linford86 you moved my post from philosophy even discussing the physicist in question? You know then what philosophy is? And what rule did I break as you asked me to obey them other than the moderator is always right? For me (at least) there was no method of appeal. Let this post of yours stand for all time despite the caveat you are but a theoretical physicist in training. It speaks for itself. It reflects the quality of our universities and our new generation of scientists with such attitudes. How can you not see legitimate questions of physics as well as philosophy involving ideas of grounding in uncertainty and the deeper nature of causation? For that matter I do not think you understand the depth of concerns on our theories of measurement. The parrot is intelligent but only learns to speak what it hears.

It seems like the closer I come to a unifying idea the more trivial it can seem. Yet if there are more particle generations along these "quasic" lines discovered then certainly the mathematics of it will be found here.

In the illustration I merely expand (1+2) to the nth to see the number of subcells and the corresponding arithmetic of the subcells (here an 8D orthogon)as an example of such coherent group computation.

It occurs to me that by such arithmetic we can add structures and natural group numbers intelligibly such that something like density of five things (=2)act as if a quasication upon the distances involved for it seems there are two forms of space to be considered, natural and quasic, that is polytope and quasitope multidimensional space with their corresponding ideas of non-locality and reduction of structures by various levels of breaking symmetry, changes of and conservation of "energy".

Thus we need to have a relevant combination of these two modes of space into a unified theory. One consequence would be that there are more paths and membrane structures than even imagined by string theory which weave thru topologies of "holes".

16^2 - 16 = 240 (eight dimensional close packing), and 240 - 15 = 15^2. Consider this, in terms of time-like dimensions in natural space we have similiar ones on some level of generational space where nilpotency is fractal and recursive.

Basically we can incorporate the mathematical formulism as existing into a wider generalization with similiar idea of the quasitope in extended dimensions. I wonder if there is an analog into n-dimensions of the icosahedron just as the all important 24 cell polytope in four space corresponds to so many other structures reduced by the informational aspects such as K = 00, or F = KK and so on. I also considered actual art and dice based on the 8 line I ching to see perhaps just where this may apply to a general theory of reading the DNA that way especially if we need to see the translations and rotations of these beautiful regular space structures- 256 being the differentiation as an individual as if spherical in flat quasic space where the differentiation of cells is decoherence or remain independent in development - that perhaps some of the restrictions in natural dimensions also apply to the quasic ones in a coherent intelligible manner beyond the physicality imagined
of touching abstract structural systems. Might there be no greater than 5 quark generations group wise- or perhaps this describes naturally arising limits to the nuclei n stellar or other furnaces of virtual and real creation?

But lets get back to a little more theory and science instead of politics. The chat rooms and blogs are after all subject to rants of personal encounters where we are not as mechanical as the internet when knowing has to have an essential emotional element.

Last night I looked at my zebra dice again but without the reference manuscript from when I made them. In fact, it has been another 4 years after ten years of not accessing my manuscripts in storage and 5000 forum pages later and this blog. So instead of the way I derived them in binary I will just give the gist of the colloquial sketches here which tends to show the principles involved, including how this may relate to our vague notions of dimensions and generalizations of string like theories in relation to particle generations. Here I am just describing a variation on translations and rotations of the 48 square surfaces of the 8 cubes in a four dimensional hypercube but the theory can go to higher dimensions.

We are so earthbound in our view of higher spaces and cling to them, as Lubos points out, near the lower dimensions and generations.

In the structures in nature that transfer energy, the feathers and trees and discs and spheres and spirals and helices, the warps are not clear- we should take literally somewhere the Riemann spirals on a disc- that is, we should expect in a vortex based on differences of electricity and heat not only the tornado but the quasic fact it is composed of smaller internal tornadoes. This is not just a matter
of complex space formalism as a basis of heat transfer. Nor as henriette had concerns on the sciencechatforum about the boundaries of what some asked was just a question of contour calculus- these have a quasic as well as fractal aspect much along the lines of drops of ink in clear water that reaching turbulence or chaos breaks down into smaller tori.

The inside and outside of the "flanged" aspect of a quasic space is after all like the brain and the other brain of glia cells for there are two ways to view space as natural and as quasic- seven and one is the model of this fourspace hypercuble and if there are virtual particles these may but do not only exist from some beginning or center or aspect of time in the remote past or future, but are creatively present in the now. It is not enough to suggest space and violations of the various symmetries CPT and so on is the origin of our reality over the nothingness for it does not answer yet if ever the reason for our being- no statistics can. That can only go to the beginning as a principle that organizes our stance against an Intelligent Designer concept anymore than design itself ultimately.

We are not sure even of the energy or the entropy seeking virtual particles as real philosophically, these may not be shadows in the twists and turns and rotations much as a tornado in the space looking inward that like a tree that falls in the forest and no one there to hear it we cannot measure the F strength of tornadoes if it has not left physical evidence- not accurately, anyway. Perhaps, and I am not sure of this, we have to generalize the div and curl aspects to include quasic ideas.

Flangelation is after all a subtle way to see the shadows in normal and not autistic space of which ideas of compactification no matter how elaborate in the application of string theory where we cannot deal with the non-linear world of flatness of particles that are self dual, is but another keeping our feet on the bottom at a seashore before we dare to swim- that or get caught in the rip currents.

The differentiation and organization of our minds, also full of higher dimensional shadows, the base or not of calculating such as 60 or so, needs not be so fixed as to organize itself in rigid global models although as with shadows and vacua we can have diverse spaces that describe diverse views of a theory applied to perception and our minds.

As far as a fourth generation (that is a quasic view of what such generations are) we may say that even if there are in theory n-generations- these are properties of the quasic algebra and deeper reason not just a description of the why of three space. Our minds are relativistic, quantum, and quasic in design unto its genes. It is conceivable that a so called fourth or fifth generation particle exists in a sense that it is the extension (even more paranormal like beyond its isolation or entanglement with other spaces and particles) only as a background covering of what may be contained within it- and it is also intelligible in the mathematics and labeling. In any case it is a simple matter to extend the quasic theories and these dice into n-dimensions but apparently we need a little more to pin down how this alternative theory deals with ideas such as mass value and gravity on a more fundamental level.

Later today: I got a nice reply from Lubos (see my last post)

and I want to make it clear the reason I am looking at the zbra dice again is to try to express the relation to the idea of particle generations apparently embedded in higher natural dimensions. I offer as a conceptual exercise the expressing of zbra dice generalized to the next level of dimensions, say, find the analog where other subcell components are contiguous and how many is in that group (how many dimensions would be the equivalent dynamical space with such translations.) The face so to speak would have three general forms rotated as the two in the accompanying illustration in four space. I may look at this some more and post something on it. It must involve octonians in sixteen dimensions I imagine and maybe the 384 hypercube rotations become intelligible there in the 4098 cells- then again maybe we need a sort of quasic volume representation or relationship. But it is more complicated than at first meets the eye- the third generation natural quasic dimension would be only 8 dimensional? If there are particles along these lines they are certainly a lot stranger than we imagine with supersymmetry string theories- thus these concepts as abstract as they are are exciting and treat generations as more complicated than some large number of them in string possibilities.

I was planning another article this morning but would like to respond here to Lubos of thereferenceframe blogspot which I sent as a comment:

Lately there has been a lot of speculation on glia cells and Einstein's brain. I think the issues debated in your post will vanish one day when we understand our own myths and nature of genius. While I understand your sentiment that a fourth quark (after all this was not a journal artilce but a popularization) being in the string field (yours was an excellent paper btw) as not surprising. But for me the whole issue is not surprising as more is going on that what we observe in our minds or in the lab. Perhaps genius, as orginal and fundamental science, in the way we learn and so on, has to be one of quasi or balanced autism (nerdism?) Was Einstein's brain all that special or was it a hype to bring popular personal respect for the Nobel Prizes? Is the purpose of the bare charge (nude integration) of your article really one about ethics as a concern of dispassionate science? I do not see the division of which is the key fashion- particle physics or biochemistry for they are so much the same and can benefit from all the models of string theory- if we dare to stretch our minds to speculate so that for the contemplative but isolated brain we bring more unified theories together- but this is a social cost where nature like the mental world is more or less restrained for balances. Let us not confuse the grid of the map with the map nor with the terrain.

BTW I have followed New Scientist and learned much from when I was a puppy and long before Lubos was a twinkle in his parents eyes- I have the utmost respect for this magazine and its job of popularizing science. If your polarity is so far to the right, and the viewpoint, Lubos, then perhaps you would not mind your republic being annexed by the Reich? But who remembers the blogs anyway?

Somehow June seems a new start on this blog just when I have exhausted the depths of my creativity. Lubos has a great post on postings on the science submissions which seems to mainly discuss various string theory ideas in theoretical physics- in a sense it is a language of its own spoken between those fluent in it. From what I can tell I find no area of such theories that addresses directly my theoretical concerns which I have called the quasic field. But I was wondering about language in general and how it influences our notions of science and our deep background of thoughts. It is well and good say to form an international language such as Glossa which takes advantage of Greek and Latin scientific roots of words- but is such an auxilliary really useful on the same level of speech as if a social language? In a sense the Greek that shows up in pure English acts above in the metaphors to convey meaning beyond the literal case- Yet, is mathematics not a scientific and international language independent of the home tongues? Mathematics is intelligibility itself and that included our notions of logic as metalanguage.

But the intelligibility of a scientific language is always a problem to share with the mass, and uplift the mass of man. Perhaps language is not the terrain nor the map that is confused but our notions of the grid and the encoding formalism itself.

For me the exploration of the idea of number and the other branches of mathematics of which I have awakened to their significance in ways I had not imagined there in these last few years- working in isolation and close to the foundations, has led me to see the math, especially the algebra and geometry quite independent of both physics and special systems of notations and notions, has me see a unified theory of how all this should fit together intelligibly. I tend to wonder why there are so many deep and diverse theories which from my viewpoint, as simple as my notions seem to me, for a unified and intelligible view- at least for the issues of science in the near future and the ideas and debates of this day. But maybe in retrospect only do we grasp a new integrated totality of the evolving language.



Ingaborg's Parrot (see her blogspot) Imagine the intelligence and ability of these birds to see multi-color space better than we do, and imagine they can mimic some human speech- the genes in colors capture the emergence artfully of our diverse gene code and language. The creative and artful scientist does not just repeat the words of others without understanding- but artistic genius if you can read it is found here in the suggestion of simplicity in the overwhelming complexity of life.

From the philosophychatforum new activity today I see the breakthrough in decoding all the variations in the genome much like a bar code- and I see it mainly as an issue in geometry including the reading of snippets in reverse as a part of the general understanding of the genome as string theoretical like. I suggest further that this is more of the idea of cellular integration and differentiation than fundamental notions of differentiation. Such linear codes can be read as chiral and dimensional representations in a fuller space with all the conservations and symmetry breaking and duality and so on that our seeming separate intelligible langages suggest may have a deeper level of relevance as well as room for growth.
