This post is a stretch but that seems to pass fast. For it is but a short lag a the foundations between the myth and the science, the emptiness and the physicality.

In this climate post: the general issue of which in terms of hard science or not is my topic of the day- after all like the weather it seems some advanced formulas can be used to predict where there are pockets of crime and that has gone down where the police have used the program.

These issues (again from my view there is a lot wanting in this sort of geometry in a mere 6 space, and again I am not that worshipful of Witten. Lubos even shows the linear situations as do some of the other bloggers in the context here.

Also my comments to Santeri on his posts I have reconsiders somewhat as to his stance on the nature of transcendental numbers and loops and such- for the issue in an arithmetic and geometrical program is for me now one of uniqueness- and if that is not primes then what other models are there in nature? So the valley of these mythical beings is the spirit of what we may become. Is this remote speculation a matter of science? Is the so called Big Bang not the past but the future that starts the next big bang? Is the universe zero and unity and no concept of absolute negative zones in its arrow at all? Of course for me that place is central and timeless... my myth of Far-rockabye in the Journeys of Olney to the quasar era.

So, Santeri, I brought up the comment that we are well beyond the post modern philosophy of science here. Now Lubos link to the aliens reads very well as something worthy of publishing as science- and yet it really solves nothing or tells us little that the average person may not already have discussed and ran the ideas to the ground or said it was some conspiracy of state power and so on. It does matter if aliens are physically there or not as to shedding light on what we may be and act in out history to come if we survive. The bloggers I link to that discuss the UFO community issues in my opinion are a lot more honest in their contemplations than this fake formal paper, and such honesty culls out or is aware of untruths.

A post modern paper on the other hand can sound very scientific with big words that also tells us a lot of nothing at all, or something that appears surreal that but seems to make sense- after all words are a most relative thing, the waste product of thought and culture, a tool to change or fight for our evolution to come and control it.

Is it not a small step to think that if Penrose is right then it may not be simply a cycle of universes and so on? The next stage may be what some seem to sense, that there is a Heaven to which what we are in the universe so become. And there are ghosts and angels and elves that in the background help direct the world as if the unique and conscious things in it are protected and guided by such airy spirits.

So, is such a paper scientific talking about things beyond the scientific realm or does the creationist and UFO aficionados overstep their bounds by talking about the science outside their reach? In either case the remote remains remote so that the immediate physicality seems all the more unique and real, as do their visible spirits lessens the spirits in the dark that really describe the climate of our minds. Not to push such spirits or gods or not well behaved equations so distant is to undermine our sense of reality and grasp of struggle for our unique being that constantly needs reassurance it is meaningful in this world- or the grace of the beyond may so take the burden of viewing the light that it is real for us.

Anyway, what is mathematical or scientific in the illustration of notes is the treatment of or counting of the "motives" or in general the z directions and xy directions as if we think of differentials, partial differentials, vector properties and so on... In color space as if these are particles themselves or fields that can connect as at least a partial reality in the random climate change seas of entropy by such logic that also underlies the reality (Otto-Motil statistics) of scientific truth. How these intersect at certain points, much like Pikanen planes that connect or like those purely Euclidean things (with the scalar grounding) assume that we can jump the values of pi in slices of Riemann multiple density of geometric shapes- and yet from some continuous view, there is not observed jump even to the quintics or less than Pythagoras of which the young Riemann asserted was not relevant to the complexity of his system or to observed physics.

The odd thing is that some of these esoteric considerations really reach and touch some of the people in the coffee shop as if to have them understand or awaken to their own seemingly trapped human condition. Of course it is easier if they say have some knowledge of things like Zen philosophy via marshal arts or some such higher concerns. As I understand it, today on the science mags we have to rewrite what we know say of chromatin - how much do we still not know about such a basic and intimate part of us? For example beyond the scope of zen debate are we more prone to suicide if that is in the family tree? Where does the idea of karma come in or not? Can we escape the history of our own past? Well, if the remote big bang is the future and not the past this is a possibility of sorts. Now in the mags there is an article that says some people figured out or intuitive knew how to beat the lottery with say three of the numbers (now of course those lotteries are "toast" as the article says. And it seems the old debate is there as to what extent of free will or determinism and the responsibility for it of the individual is there. So is all a randomness of some degrees no matter how intricate of chance, synchronicity, coincidence outside the expected norm? Is all determined or ultimately random? Is a person not special as much as they may feel they are unique or is the failed uniqueness something they have to protect to be in a relation to the world? Can it be in the still unintelligible mathematics of it all that the world only makes partial sense (assuming we do not just live in our heads, another core debate of long struggle to understand) that there are only degrees of pseudo-random numbers when it comes down to it.

So mixing red and blue marbles half of each in a pail by stirring theme around left handed with a stick, the reverse right handed does not but can order them separate again- this is basic- yet on the average they are never really totally separated into randomness.

What can I say but have new thoughts like being aware and more intimate of forgotten things in the perhaps welcome oblivion of life as I have lived it- the living that keeps fears away that life is possible- that I renew contact with things as simple as how muscles and digestion work, how the feel of my hand upon my wrist is a miracle that tells me something of the unmasked and unhidden physicality of my being and more- that in the ongoing awareness and not the memory we can appreciate and should the depth and value of the touching and touch of others taken so for-granted in the living it and the desire of it as if we by chance want to drink of the fog.

We still crave the recognition at a distance, groupies to those we otherwise would avoid and now join the crowd crossing the street to bask or be a special part of their fame- bragging rights maybe, a learning maybe, a seeking of the wiser one. But I had he singular thought today that what would I feel if after so much wisdom say if I had mastered the paths and credentials in a physics or biology career that the world has changed, no one has the answers today, and that all I would have learned was wrong. Yet, in many ways it is good to clean the chalkboard and start again.

Why after all of this do I remain so optimistic for our futures? If we imagine an eternity of darkness before us most unconcerned yet do so for an eternity of darkness after us, how much more the distance of our sense of well-being if there is no such past darkness or if it is it is intimate every moment so as to be invisible and innocuous- all that we measure is just everlasting and only partially stable and unique in its own day. Yet, I know that such questions of ends and origins have little to do from some higher perspective with our ideas of futures and past.

Seven of Nine Theory

Just a restatement of the color cubes in triads 9 in point like and 6 in string like complimentary spaces. Imagine trying to color a set of 15 jack stones and having to choose of three times as many sets of four colors and all the inverses. This cost and practical problem in my actually buying and painting jack stones long ago was the inspiration for these types of what I think are "motivation" orientations, if that is the term. Of course the real interest into three space from four space would be worth the extension of our cubes and matrices.

Another realization (and Hey galatomic, what do you make of Penrose seeing the Big Bang as the future for a new cycle of the universe? You and I did always debate on what direction up or down in the depth was the past or future.) Is that the E8 type structures apply as the same pattern or group of things- but it is only quasi-homowhatsit, I mean that the pattern is universal does not mean it cannot be found over a range of dimensions, 2 3 4 and so on of which the context it generates is a vastly different world as far as how we interpret particles and things as physicality. In a sense some of these ideas may remind those who look for an explanation as in gluon or group theory color will see some of these things in this almost too trivial counting of objects in latices and representations of space. Look a little deeper!

The problem remains for the triple alphabetical listing of the 15 or 30 cubes which in a sense describes a fractal like curve in the higher spaces and matrices of which of course here we need a triality of them to fill the space at infinity.

I will return here later with principles *27 to *40 of various considerations that have come up in no particular picture. Perhaps, cover the idea in an illustration of the color representations of the 24 cell as if a quarter of an inscribed octahedron and so on (another way to relate the 24 squares in a notation to those of how we color code normal space. Can we use the associahedra ideas or some such asymmetric principle to sort the field and shapes of the n-ominos?

I have some problem with our interpretation of physics as if a too restricted "monological" view.

I mean even where we duplicate (that is our core idea of group duality) some ensemble say at E8, I see not reason to regard the copy as that indicating gravity. There is much more freedom of the relations as such.

So quantum gravity, especially where it strives to find a monlogical relation to the Planck energy as in string theory is not a general enough theory. The idea of these dimensioned or dimensionless choices of our measure makes more sense if we allow concepts like a hierachy of Planck values as TGD asserts.

There is no reason in general to prefer pi or its multiples other than convenience of the formulas of our systems, to force a mathematical principle on the cosmos over other ways to do it.

In a sense there are infinitely more transcendental numbers but we have proven but a few of them. So from a wider view, in these paradoxical matters of singularities all such seemingly non-linear relations of numbers can be set down as algebraic if the information is real and useful.

I think the burning questions of what happens say if we have infinite levels of p-adic numbers will vanish as an issue if we strive to behold a wider ground. But in the meantime we certainly need to develop our methods and systems as best we can.

And the issue of zero point vacua should be considered from a little more relaxation view- not to say that in the world of varying things gravity and mass may on the whole be constant.

It has been said that the ratio of a diameter to a circumference could encode somewhere the encyclopedia Britannica or works Shakespeare could have written. Or anything of some possible cosmic reality. Does this come back after some cosmic year? But how much richer would these sequences interact if in the possibility of differentiation of flat things that as the computing of the next higher dimensional volumes we have to square pi itself?

So even in the three and four space these 64 in relation to vectors (Eddington's fundamental theory) we have the 2^8 in various interpretations of representational dimensions.

*34 - Imagine then replacing the 24 squares with octahedral thus 480 faces of the 24-cell = 12 x 192, 48 x 24 = 1152, interestingly to color code with 24 colors the 24-cell along Hinton's lines (and the reuse of my letter notation cdef-wxyz ...

*35 - Gravity as a general measure needs not be dependent on its expression as a totality of some complex or mirror group edifice analogous to duality, but may be transitive over its determination as if on the whole a constant (algebraic sum) locally varying- as in the case observed and as in the freedom of separating and rearranging material inertial objects, or the notions that we intelligibly do so.

Usually over irrational roots of 3n for the iota particle-string array or and invariant if directionality is unitary over a range of natural dimensions with some gauge mirror possible.

Physicality and Symmetry (Quasic Grounding for Alternative Theories) L. Edgar Otto

I present the raw notes for my relaxed explorations of last night. Some things I had to reconsider and look at a little deeper, but beyond the squiggles and notations of simple arrangements my working thought found interesting concepts which I imagine are worth recording as stepping stones to possible later clarity and in communication.

Some other influences were synchronously involved- for example in both Kea's and Pitkanen's post today I see parallels of some themes.

As for Ulla and her comments to Matti I find the issue of a radio designed by a woman using LED lights modulated at very high frequency that is a transmitter and receiver at the same time such that as in (the BBC's article) use for jamming hacking medical implant devices the essential information can be sorted out and still transmit vital states of the health to those who are authorized to receive it. The lady who designed this revolutionary radio may have made another new revolution in our technology. This of course concerns signals and how many bits may be exchanged at the same time - all on something as simple as light. It can be used when in bright sunlight the LED's compensate for the brightness, yet to our human eye the on or off seems continuously on.

*23 - Hinton and Human Pattern Recognition (A problem that many seems to burden the attention and memory in the one human element over the computers for pattern recognition and evaluation as "insanity or confusion" on the face of it does tell us something of the connection in the negative with human cognition.)

*24 - The Interesting Linear Reduced Case of iotatopes (that is as in Kea's post and related links how many say octahedral points map to a linear line segment.

*25 - Different representations prove useful in the count of iota objects- this is especially true when we stack tetrahedra (or other contained simplexes in them) such that more than three of them exhibit handedness. In this sense we may look a little deeper into the grounding of alternative theories such as Pitkanen's wormhole connections say in the symmetries of space involving organic systems.

*26 - Google has a logo today involving Fermat's last theorem of which the arithmetic of it certainly still applies to the numeric aspects of these considerations of dimensions.

*27 - When we are used to the quantum concepts, even when they seem spooky and vague to familiar experience, these form a stepping stone to deeper concepts of grounding the various alternative theories. It is indeed a good way to advance better reasoning and developing a terminology for even more fundamental concepts of physics. As such we can cite the reasoning without it necessarily being a part of the quantum theory as reality nor any of its descendants or dead ends.

*28 - Perhaps such reasoning alone can lead to some description of the foundational concepts on space and dimensions, and the interpretations for particles, herein. One would suspect there are some methods that in some form of careful reasoning and proofs allow statements like a black hole spins the space around it. But it may limit certain formulations that do not seem to apply to the physical world like Weyl's gauge theory. Even for Einstein these too weird to apply - a weirdness maybe a little weirder than quantum mysticism to his distant unified monological God's-eyes). Like with Non-euclidean geometry the logic of our concepts of God of all such geometries stand or fall together.

*25 - The problem with the search for super-symmetry with the long standing grounding of standard and other physics traditions is that we are not looking so much for a new form of the processes of symmetry (for such evidence in the colliders for example) - a new translation, rotation, or their equivalences of total descriptions of reality, but our not looking for a better relation of these concepts of SUSY in the real space we are describing itself.

*26 - We can imagine certain changes in the area of Discrete Symmetry along these lines:

26a - In a spinning object in the xy direction we can have an invariance of color but a change of shape of the n-omnino structure and orientation.

26b - These changes can be there and influential in the background but not directly observable.

26c - Parity and Chirality are ultimately ill defined for higher space as it would seem there is a world where we can force a program or conclusion or prove some ensembles possible or not by the "point parity" of checkerboard colored cells. Yet we have to consider also the "line parity" where the unification is an iota point-string unity. This concept insures or grounds our ideas of wave particle dualities.

26d - Directed arrows on say triangular edges in a sense describe are more literal definition of spin or spin possibilities. Note, in the 8 point cube or the 6 point octahedron each of them can have spins and counter spins along the axis.

26e - The mysteries of the microwave vibrations of Methane are descriptions really of Pascal triangle relations and the null and complex of null singularities.

26f - And yes (Kea et al) we have in a sense triple points of such spaces which of course can be reduced to Feynman diagrams of objects like triple quarks and so on.

A note for a song (on face book):


Some have promoted Dylan as a poet the master of cliche- and that seems true. Welcome to our dystopia as we are now in a large dysfunctional technical future looking back somewhere between the junk cars impossible to finance and a few years more become classics. I tried to take a break from the physics to get back to song writing again, playing in the open mics. So I give you this rough draft of thoughts for a song and the hanging on of ideas only those who lived in or mimic that decade will understand what changes have occurred in the world culture. So we cannot really say how such thoughts may be seen in the future where our personal lives are after all a sort of comedy of cliche we hold as tragic. One has to be a royalty to admire bonds from afar, or one has to be poor with obstacles and simple purposes for love- but in the end we strive to find what is universal and timeless in love as the human condition. So far no one can tell us how to live but living on one's own path can be a lonely way to live. Those who inspired this are really a collective of a few others in these changing, hard, and interesting times.

Which shows enquiry into the arithmetic nature of primes and also has a picture of a sphere of sorts of which in the compression to a length mapped to infinity we find the one half value. In many ways all the bloggers in the know seem to have a sense of the physics applications of the numbers and topology. But the question is still what happens at such remote points of ideal infinity- for we tend to think that from the 15 things left in four space the four edges to infinity from them extend outward in a world where it is not clear nature so views the nature of space- in fact if such as possible must necessarily be imbalances while parts are indeed asymmetrical.

And this is only concerning the lower dimensions.

It takes a very high horse to make high grade horse hockey- so why the remarks as if you are in the know so feel morally justified behind a mask (save perhaps your spelling of foton)?

Hofstadter is not kind to his students and his strange loop idea is wrong or barely relevant even from a physics viewpoint.

This is a post that asks us to consider some deeper points of logic (of which Hofstadters is a little dated if it applies anymore at all).

Does pi not arrive independently from statistics and not just a circle diameter ratio? Can given any 9 digits of it we predict the next 9 in hexadecimal? Sorry the concept of numbers (Pitkanen's strength and originality in my opinion) as hierarchies or such concepts as animal magnetism are popular when we do not fully understand magnetism.

You seem to have no idea that in the physical world as finite we can have a duality of circles and lines drawn beyond loops of our comfort zone of infinity. So your ideas on this are not deep enough for even a layman to understand.

A true intellectual, honest scientist, and layman should try to imagine there are things he may not know (outside of Godel, Escher and Bach) of which he should do the hard work of showing if it can be done why he makes such comments.

The second question I give you this: the key is how things connect in the wormhole like idea between organic molecules like DNA of which from a metaphysics standpoint one could certainly say consciousness and its asymmetry of necessity exceeds the velocity of light. Certainty you have experienced the hand faster than the eye?

I come here this morning with thoughts on a different way to view the landscape of string theory, from a few notes and coloring between sparse lines establish a system or conclusion- rather fill in what has evolved in my thinking. It is a new experience for me really to apply to physics the creative juices flowing in the background that comes unbidden from mysterious places and sometimes full blown- as in ideas of philosophy and themes or details of a poem or song.

As mathematics is an intrinsic part of the being of things I too asked the question yesterday of this author in the blog I follow which is really beautiful and has a certain good grounding as philosophy. There have been other times I have drank from the pure water of the babbling brook of this authors heart.

But mathematics is something we at times stumble on or in the hard enough work it dawns on us what some picture or solution is- but why? I quite imagine in the arrangement of the color cube notation that some people find easy and I do not (of course they can miss half the picture), is a key in fact to answer what nature does herself. It is a question of cognition and computation.

From a more geometrical view some ideas are really need to find the right paths or restrictions when consciousness or nature tries or experiences the order of things assumed and causal or ad hoc. For surely given a state or ensemble of objects in disorder in theory there is at least one path that could return to whatever origin there is- ad hoc after the fact God's-eye view and the finding of submarines in stealth from the confused echos of the jumbled sonar. It does not matter that we can assume at any point that there are no certain links to such paths or predictions.

To this end I offer a new theory or further refine the idea of iota particles (that is a point- ray rather than a string only or a point only formalism, and one that is in principle scaleless), a particle really of the Omnium. What makes this an idea of physics is it defines on one hand the idea of action-reaction (also a state of vibration) on the other hand the looping as in strings in regards to the compass of the grounds of a complex or ensemble of iotas is less strict than what we assume we know of the idea of rigidly defined natural dimensions. It is no wonder, knowing greater energy may be involved in higher space, that the leaking of such loops suggest an idea of gravity, but one that is lost in the landscape.

Or that we use such combinatorial or string methods to describe our distinctions, seemingly physical and given on some level and in some recognition of space or math properties, of the styles of particles involved- mediators, bosons, fermions and the whole particle zoo of virtual things. Yet, with the vertexes of the color cube type theories as in the above illustration one could sort it out to make distinctions in the fields and particles ro what is the fermion or boson.

A key idea, of Newton really, the action-reaction, states that action is blind and can go in default instantly into the center of some system. But the reaction goes around a bit. Sometimes it goes around so much it allows vast organisms to develop by delayed biochemical pathways- and where things are finite, as Rowlands points out, such delays are in a sense lagging and take time.

There is no reason to make the universe conform to our ideas of a total theory, and so to make a metaphor as if consciousness is a property of the universe itself, if the universe does not make such a limitation of cognition- while a partial answer is useful,even universal, we should keep in mind that in effect we are limiting our own metaphors of cognition.

Indeed, such is the case as "the only way possible Riofrio's theory could be right," (and that to me seems to keep the question open for after all at the remote conceptions I have already considered an inversion of the geometry where in many theories the inverse of the inverse square laws make sense)" is with considerations of such remote or initial conditions." Pitkanen replies to me in his comment to my comment on his evaluation of her hypothesis. Both total theories on the face of it while universal are not as general as the metaphors of a total Omnic system or what the universe does despite how we try to describe or understand it.

*1 - there are distinct possible states of singularities with or without structure.

*2 - the relations between iotas or point-string physical localities are more general than a natural progression of the concept of dimensions.

*3 - a structure may have a center (for simple connectedness) or not and we can regard the shift between such views of a singlarity as a surface or one of higher dimensional depth.

*4 - the division of a color cube structure may be a minimum quantization (baseball curve) or a division into three regions of two faces each, in at least two chiral ways and one that is neutral.

*5 - the six colors may color a cube of 24 regions but the opposite ones are the same four colors along the axes (feel free to explore this mult-raygun or angle and right angle, idea in 4 space.)

*6 - the enumeration of possibilities of the coloring of such axes follows the factorials but starting from the highest number and the x1 last one is forced or left out as the last counting number.

*7 - the symmetries of the group of such enumerations apply- thus at 6! we observe the intelligible pairings of in regards to duality and the symmetry of groups.

*8 - at zero dimensions the question of inertia as action-reaction is non-existent or ambiguous, depending perhaps on how we are to regard complete dimension levels or what in a sense is the idea of the filled vacua.

*9 - (I am still not clear on the mechanism that distinguishes the over flow of the chiral forms of matter not being equivalently created save perhaps a deeper consideration of the Leibniz background as assemblies of ordered and disordered cubes- that is I do not show it yet in the computations)

*10 - in an iota of one dimensional continuous breath we have a center point or not symbolically halfway of over the potential infinity such that we may imagine the iota finite point vibrating against the ends and making its own action and lagged reaction.

*11 - an iota may fall into such a center and it be to a higher or lesser natural dimension in context. Or an iota in context may creatively arise, or it can get lost in a stable but isolated loop save perhaps its collective effects of self-recursive space structures.

*12 - in three space the minimum quantiation-quasication surface through the center, if there are 8 corners and inversion, results in 9 transitive entities or from a connected view 10 as two in the center of a cube. But such internal singularity complexes may condense into powers of two.

*13 - in the reduced form a iota line segment is 3 singularities or the diagonal of matrices with three styles of singularities, 1 or 2 in the context center, a square is 5 with center, a cube is 17. (what is the structure and what natural dimension of 257 with center and so on?)

*14 - we might consider the difference of some curves of falling from a continuous view as a measure of some observed natural dimension level phase effects- for example the fastest fall or roll of an object, for a lag consideration of the expression or averaging of what are otherwise integral numbers averaged.

*15 - the filled vacuum idea, or the relative vacuum as a force (Newtons relativity tell us a board scaled up across a ditch would collapse across a river) such as perhaps the monopole as point and electrostatic field as string, is a theory that needs generalization (as does the Pauli exclusion idea).

*16 - from a corner of 20BDK space the center singularity between them may exhibit a duality of colors, that is the pair production when relativistic ideas are applied and in general the ideas about black hole evaporation or as creative force. (can we create a black hole as such? or is that super-vacuum filled?)

*17 - the colors of the sides of an orthogon follow the linear integration of the Conway grid labels and its higher matrix analogs.

*18 - from some other structural point complex we can have a 2n portal to different orientations and general momenta directions as a quasi finite subset of them in what we may decide is a unitary field of determined directions. This is a generalization of the quasic ordering in a plane (the Z code or a fractal filling at infinity of a brane) in higher space representations (is there a general theory for this hierachy of things also or its it only partially true of the paradoxical structures of space?)

*19 - two or more branes can intersect in a creative point- or some distinguishing of such points as a singularity complex involving discrete and continuous values. (would we then call this generalization a membrane?)

*20 - particles may behave locally and experimentally as if the laws of symmetry apply and are in a sense absolute, as well the existence of such a notion most often corresponding to the existence of such particles in a quasi-locality creative context.

*21 - it no longer follows in a rigidly intelligible total theory (especially ones that reach into subatomic structure as an extended analog to this- the term hyperentanglement for example in Rowlands) that the removal from an infinite lattice of a note and its connecting points results in a shift from flat Euclidean to Spherical geometry via those harmoinics or other methods. For what is the node and the point but an iota point-string of some questionable location of varieties of singularities (including Higgs-like entities that are in effect like a pion as it appears other than a gluon mediator as a strong and weak force.

*22 - one possible theorem to consider in the arrow of time where in a world ambiguous to the symmetry of intertial direction, that these over a range of dimensions that they are invariant in structure but reduce in dimension of its real or virtual simply connected singularity (or but a surface no matter how we may interpret the values of forces in relation to the idea of electron shielding of the bare charge to presumably a minimum value or even zero) that the physicality of the what we signify as a filled vacuum regardless of sign, results in the direction as a natural dimensional reduction in symmetry considerations where intertia if first and formost the non-necessity of something to react against so it is not forbidden on a fundamental level of reality. Again, when things are so simplified and number appears to be intimate with its reality to physicality, we can image the remote and ideal points at infinity as if the reaching of some quasi yet concrete limit, but surely not just one we approach indefinitely no matter what the scale of our total theory.

It occured to me to google Charles Hinton's cubes (of which I had never seen them described but what they could do- for one thing the finding of 24 of them... wondering if such logic corresponds to my simple 24 in the quasic logic which deduced the 24 against the usual rules. But so far I see nothing exceptionally different than what we know of such cubes. Last time I checked the information was hard or impossible to find despite many references with the usual how such a procedure - well, the game of "instant insanity" seems to have a good name for such a puzzle for a lot of people :-)

At the foundational level of the several spatial arrangements by symmetry and inversion, chance and necessity, continuity and the discrete, we can find grounding for the general principles that define what seems concrete in the reality.

We acknowledge the possible reality of the concepts and ideas of numbers, math as a realm of its own but only equal in potential to the idea of nothingness, non-existence, also the idea of inertia or mass, what is physical as real. These form an over-theory, a quaternity of sorts that in the main exists although any of the sub realms may exist, not exist, or vary somewhere in between.

Thus from the beginning we see that what is simply connected or not is a relative and changeable concept where these spaces may be both or shift between them or even jump the concept of natural dimensions to the singularities so contained or not in a local or extended space. A singularity is the nothingness of some real and potential object, it is a complex involving aggregates or ensembles of entities or even some deep relation to space as if expanding or contracting or staying the same, or it is the field of string like embodied Higgs-like half of infinity of a quasi-singularity which is the focus of the reality of location and time- but it is not the origin, even in motion of its parts, of mass as we have evolved the definition of it.

We can have finite and closed regions of which the shapes may vary independently of the (Penrose tile) lattices. But as finite the boundary of these things that spin or translate linearly is not rigid to said moving rays or objects continuous or discrete in its grounding linear abstract motion.

Note: I know I can express these deep ideas better than this post. We should imagine the 30-LHC space and the 20-BDK space as in a sense two spaces to consider changes of the abstract and not necessarily orientation of color (for example this may ground our ideas of color charge for something we describe as gluons). In a sense from the indistinguishable we can distinguish by these general methods of order or disorder some concepts such as matter-darkmatter and so on, and the relationship of black holes and stars over a universe and their general function beyond the natural creative force of their apparent origins.

We cannot explain the universe by the formalisms of nothingness (nilpotency) alone. And with a better imagination of higher dimensions we see that Dirac 4 spinors are useful as part of the growing general picture of things in this 20-BDK space.

Our consciousness is grounded yet free to adapt but always asks these questions of what is the background and being of the self as it builds and becomes aware of some theory.

Otherwise how could an omnipotent God see the world and not add to its disorder to the maximum extent- nor view as a sentient thing a single photon to forbid the one law of asymmetry in the thermodynamics as if Maxwell's demon? But is this personalization of the "mind of God" not as beautiful and more intricate design than our current failing physics? Are we like the particles are, not at home with this very idea of what our selves are and how we can understand and see the physicality of being- and yes, how we can add a grain of unity to it all and to what extent we can trust experiments.

c or h for that matter as an idea of measure (that is concerning finite measure is possible as inertia) and we give general relativity that sort of absolute time reference) is not fundamental. But we can so modify the values involved to fit more up to date physics. All is in this sense an ad hoc assumption. But is it not amazing the models work over a wide universe regardless of who adds what or not to it all?

Einstein and Newton share this same primitive idea of mass. Newtons absolute time was then distinguished from Newton's relative time.

Glad you saw my comment in the greater context of our search for a more general theory.

Now, consider this, no signal can be sent faster than light (save perhaps once a path is established as in Penrose's idea of quantanglement And what is that signal but some form of information bits?). So as Shannon observes a signal is information that contains meaning, thus we are describing a certain entropy of a message.

Now I too have thought about Rio Frio's desire to see early (quasars) as evidence of the slowing down of light. I have no problem with this conclusion really but it may exist as a principle in other forms or other principles may explain things.

For me a quasar is a creative object or the result of one, but one could say (since she points out it was so close to some beginning of things another principle could be involved) that the first value of c was as if it was nearly infinite to so slow down. (to what? nearly or absolutely zero velocity?)

Determinism and locality, absolute chance as non-linear and not clear in direction (thus also a true unitary theory as far as quantum like grounding of continuity needed goes) and locality or non-locality, in general what grounds our ideas of coherence, and if we desire as if a fourth concept Inertia (be it mass or gravity) somewhere has much to do with mass- not what the standard theory or GR seems to think as it is not general enough.

What does c slow down relative to?

Clearly, the invariant hyperbolic rotation or boost is a z axis or what some may see as a limitation of such symmetries of space as we think it merely 3 or 3+1 dimensional. Kea has some objects that seem to suggest this sort of thing in that terminology.

But I am still not quite sure what you mean, Matti, by such a distinction of the Boolean notions yet I did imagine within the same framework of space that as sub notions there are physical things and processes we can so distinguish. (see my post today on toward a philosophy of physicality) the issue of which is precisely your statement of the way or problem of solutions.

I am also not clear on what it means to slice membranes or if these are on the same level as TGD.

And since when does c have an exact value but one we assign it to some degree of accuracy as the standard?

Anyway, today's fashion may turn out permanent- ultimately Lubos shows a deep indeterminacy at the heart of things which does after all make simple string theory a possible concrete foundation (even when Higgs fields as such are not) so why expect they to give mass values in any one of the wide landscape geometries? Can a theory be so abstract it does not apply?

But yes, modification of a theory can mean it is out of touch.

The clarity and consequences come back somewhat- that perhaps these general statements in the standard terms may help explain this world of 3n Tetratrialities as far as the natrual dimensions as a background go:

Color not only adds a dimension to the discussion but is a unitary dimension as far as any symmetrical orientation goes.

We are dealing here with four primary ideas of the background (Phaneron) of what inertia concepts are (as if we needed to express in the filled vacua the action reaction law of Newton)... Newton's and Mach's, Einstein's and Leibniz's of which Leibniz's is in general the more difficult view. How we privilige aspects of these determines to a great extent what we imagine of the role of the others for physicality.

In the CPT (and possibly by Rowlands M for mass or inertia, and maybe another term * or background itself if we think of the symmetries and logic involved) - I mean if c slows down is this not a sort of exponential continuous symmetry breaking?- How then does it apply to identity and ensembles of entities as in Leibniz's phaneron's ?) We may not clearly distinguish what after all is the C or P or T or M involved if these are placed in some system such as say quasics or quaternion, particles and so on... For hidden deep in the concepts of what is the virtual existent potential or the nothing, or the real and actual, the singularity, its numerical and geometrical expression, or the complex of singularities... these may appear invariant while they exchange their identities in the meaning including their sub relations like CP=T as matters of what is not actually conserved in a shallow viewing.

So would the physicality of inertia like systems be a physics that is independent of such notions or frameworks and even philosophies of physics we adopt? Or is this idea of notions (as if say Boolean logic) at some level uncertainty or quantum itself (if I understood what Pitkanen is getting at)? Apparently, in the best model of interpretations of physicality we cannot see the world as totally deterministic and continuous as in qualatative GR formulations, or as quantitative QM emphasis, nor even as Quasics as a logic space without such a more general view grounding the need for all such views. QmQl = Qs, or QM x GR = Quasics and so on to the dance of three conceptual objects appearing in simplified three space as does the laws of natural dimensions in higher space (say where he inverse cube law would be the stable orbit of gravitational objects). If we fall deep into one of the directions of combining primary physics systems it may in fact make a third seem to vanish as if it too fills the vacuum or mirror reiterations of vacua or constant values... along with the unification sought for in a seemingly positive and absolute persisting arrow of the world or its assumption of "spin".

The technical reason or asserted conclusion that a so called "gluon" carries a color force is a fortunate metaphor for ideas where color itself as a dimension conveys certain notions to us about space and numbers. I am aware that Conway now has a book that suggests such a use for color to help with understanding certain maths but I have not seen it yet suspect it is about say simpler things than this post- that is say how to break a square number into two triangular numbers and so on.

But color has always conveyed a sort of logic to me as one of my more favorite things in this world (wishing in fact we could see a higher analogy to color.)

One great consequence is perhaps with such systems as these 30-LHC space and 20-BDK spaces intertwined into one system is that we show how the gene code can be read with a 4 base codon in a 256 field of them- and yet we can of course imagine the reading within that system of 6 or 8 of these as if 6 or 8 colors for he bases - and why this base idea is in a sense self limiting to the coherence of notions and organic beings on several recursive and absolute levels.

It occurs to me also that I should make more explicit what I am saying rather than assume someone can infer it. The reality of what is a C P T * for example is ultimately such that some concept say Charge, thought discrete needs not be in the foundational case but will shift with the continuous ambiguously- which is a rather radical statement as if the persistence of the real is close to the concept that on the average we can see more matter than antimatter. It is easy to see the 45 degree viriality or assumed causality in Einstein's theory can be open to a wider generalization of what is the concept of dimension be it a wider view between what is left a physical actuality or so basic as to be philosophically a question of exist, not exist, or exist in a complex within some limit of a useful informational system. In this respect the exponential notations are a limitation to what is the actual view of even how physical things can interact in the universe as far as notation especially if we strive to find a unity (existing as a totality or not, the TOEs we look for a matter of just physics really as yet the omnium background is still a matter of the mixed also logic and notions of philosophy, concrete as a metaphysics or not.

But as far as experiments go it is not considered physics to say in a general totality that the results are distinguished as intermittent. The deep question then is to what extent we may dismiss or declare there are things that are ultimately non-linear (in a deeper sense than say nth order differentials or partial ones applied by the various topological and numeric ways we may address say momentum space or phase space.) To so address is to limit some things to the physicality in terms of a linear process and what can happen within it and how even if it is within a set of higher branes or membranes.

Again, the orthogonality and symmetries work (to some extent or sometimes to not at all) as to the ultimate nature of physicality, of physics and experience as the primary focus of our notion systems. The mystery again that the world has a certain logical coherence of expressed laws at least in the near past and future. Why as Lubos ask are some things consistent- why indeed is arithmetic and geometry intelligible? Useful or any quantum information if it can escape the black holes and remain consistent would suggest the world is close to this wider generalization of a philosophy of physicality. Even if it returns in a loop of the immediate in proximity and its mangling unraveled, or even over a total system says something about the remote and possibly origin or end of states, we can ask "where does the information go?"

With the 20-BDK and 30-LCH color notations in the background we can say that the former can make a field to designate or create the latter (and this in a sense can be seen as a one sided directionality over the unitary ambiguous whole of which such unitary uncertainty does seem to lead to effects of physical order and persistence, that is God can in theory intervene as a notion even if the omnipotence will cause disorder by awareness or notions on physical states- that is Maxwell is not a full picture of order in the universe.) Let us also keep an eye on the validity of the need in an ambiguously open or closed system on any notion that demands or concludes that certain seemingly virtual or concrete objects must have a finite mass. The idea of a Higgs being zero spin, much as the identification of the Casmir force as described as well by point particles, is a resolved nilpotent but not a concept generalized enough- the Higgs field (as it may or may not exist in some form at half the diagonal or infinity) is surely as not as simple as it is the zero-point which so describes its limits and identity.

I call for ideas from the puzzle community to contribute and explore some of these directions. This began for me in asking myself (after seeing that the Egyptian children had wheel and axle carts while their parents still moved blocks rolling them on logs placed from the front to back as the blocks moved- a game we made into toys as children in turn), what toy in our present age may have such significance? And I chose to investigate the SOMA cube puzzle.

Although I greatly admire Peter Rowlands book on the fundamentals I am not quite convinced the system and how he describes it, as beautiful as it is, is enough to explain foundations either as science or philosophy. It should be very clear that the Higgs idea as presented and the assumed equivalence to zero-point fields and so on, the idea of a spin zero boson and the whole first blush approach to the nilpotent formulations- makes some rather unlikely and unsupported assumptions- as Rowlands points out that renormalization does not have a solid grounding. Yet the book reads as does other books, holy books really wherein a young soul might be receptive to a total belief in a presented system- that of the standard theory. Yet we should go beyond this in Rowlands great step as working with the vacua and his ideas of continuity as regards to observables.

The standard theory and Higgs for me have become again a toy, so what now to do with the slave labor of applications and theory as we await the governor of the steam engine as Bergson observed to free up one of the engineers to write poetry?

I will also post here today illustrations of some of my colorings of cubes as I had wondered what sort of sets they make. In particular the symmetries of the icosahedron, cube, and tetrahedron. The viewing into the depth of a tesseract from the surface (after all Rowlands does get the point of a muon as singularity and the idea of what is multiply connected or not as such in the topology). I find also an interesting coloring based on the old astrology tables of 12 triangles around a square in the farmers almanac of Franklin as if a mirror to the 13 star usa flag arrangement. This seems to lead to some interesting same level breaking of the more general parity division of the tessseract and to some interesting flat tile coloring.

One should of course show for the icosahedron the matching of these twenty triangles.
The main issue in the so called filled vacua if we try to imagine these as particles as to what is the physical or what the virtual and nothingness for me in the application to genetic models at least was from one side of the formulation the 20 was a significant number- and for me the 24. But let us note that the product of these is 480 of use for many things like particle physics! Not to mention the 240 soma cube solutions or the 240 8-space spheres surrounding another one.



I suspect but have not explored the cubes which are quasic (that is 2^n informational as in the zebra or piano dice of the 8 tesseract cube faces touching) as far as the application or distinctions of colors may go. I forgot in fact how I derived the set of cubes with only ten letters at the time of my calyptic cubes of 9 patterns four at a time from 6 cubes. But at the time I was doing this more as a recreation than a hard look at space and numbers. Of course we can formally color things other ways with fewer colors- the 20 of triangles of four colors, or the coloring of the polyhedra with lesser colors and so on...
