Calyptic Methods In Physics

I begin to doubt the usefulness in the short run at least of recent projects of physics, state or university sponsored. Sure, for awhile there were dramatic results which has not seemed to make progress as it could have over the long run. One question then is the passing of wisdom from one generation to another, from teacher to student, and independent or isolated work where the business of new ideas occurs more in the lunch rooms and tennis courts than the classroom. But the world has changed or I have enough to not be influenced by the culture and its sense of history, to see it as a matter of popularity and power and not science for its own sake. However, what can be found in the free exchange of ideas, student to student, suffers these days where there is no social discussion outside of the workplace. Where such tradition is no longer the norm nor found- the sciences vanish. Too often a token socialist reward is there just for the benefit of appearances.

By Calyptic I mean hidden. It strikes me that the issue of what is hidden or not in our math and physics methods is a hot and promising issue of our day. Last night in a dream that was more like work than a vision I calculated some coordinate notations of which it was 5x5 dimensions and the key that 36 was involved as to how we see what is hidden or not in the quasic 6D (or 8D) notation. The polytope I based it one was among the simplest of its category (by Hess) and the idea of such a square base five is perhaps the simplest of Pythagorean triangles, 3 4 5.

Given there were nine colors as quilt patterns of four colors that had to fit when four of the cubes were arranged with what could be seen on the surface as matching the design of this puzzle was a very difficult undertaking. but the result was a puzzle that my kids could easily solve in matching the cubes. Sometimes our working out of physics notions are like that.

Part of what brings me here today was consideration of the idea that energy is in a sense constant in an isolated system, and the entropy always increases. But in the new cosmologies, at the remote conditions these common physics concepts are not adequately understood.

What does isolated system mean anyway (as some say there are no isolated systems)in a model of the world where on some scale in the scaleless in a sense every region is isolated unto itself or never so in relation to extended pictures of space or time whether it be an emptiness or full or not? Certainly, from one view we can say that there is a sort of symmetry breaking where that hidden, the opaque or as some may speculate some idea of dark matter and so on, that these can be mechanisms for the marginalization or even the effective isolation of systems.

Can those who consider an oscillating universe based on two parallel branes, the Ekpyrotic model, not imagine a plane or brane that is at once self parallel and perpendicular and within it we find the same properties of that seen and hidden- the hidden to complexity can bring calyptic simplicity. Such a membrane really a fractal like membrane of membranes, is a dihedron at zero containing no empty abstract space between the branes but not containing something. Furthermore, the issue of if it has one side or two sides in the topology is quite besides the point.

We need not abandon most of the methods imagined by the procession of independent theoreticians. The academic freedom is not a natural selection process of nature red in tooth and claw to get at the overall truth of things. Nor should the institutions be isolated from the people too much.

I realize then that things like the partition or Calley numbers are part of the hidden logic and evolving of the quasic plane coordinate notation and abstract motions. That is, as I have designated those space models of six bit coordinates in a 2x3 labeling it is clear that the arrangement of labels of the bits have application to a more general way to relate the elements of the planes. The abstract coordinate motions and labels can be written in such binary base numbers and it intrinsically states the ordering of things including that on the same level.

But there is still more- these coordinate designations can be written in their vector, tensor, matrix, magic, and so on forms in any of the higher space representations.

I suspect with the barest hint of the lower dimensions, well, four anyway, that the relevance of the partition numbers used in the string models for example is that they lie on the edges of the plane and not in the body of the braneworld itself. In this sense where these numbers are relevant holographic ideas apply- and at a certain point where numbers as space itself becomes replete with properties or loses them, system evolve intelligibly to those of calyptic forces isolating them.

But this was a very old puzzle (well 1985) and I did not use the quasic plane and calyptic methods in my intuitive exploration of such models. I find it gratifying that so many have begun to propose these ideas to be considered in formal papers. I merely have shown, hopefully, an easier way to visualize these processes and so simplify them for the sake of a project of better unification as a long time goal.

It is in 4 space, btw that there is even further possibilities of what in the turns and twists of things that needs not be given over to chaos, that the first hints of asymmetry and symmetry diverge even as abstract motion and coordinate notation.

Later that night:

I was thinking of resting the pace of this blog awhile- I am amazed how often I find something to talk about, usually on the walk to the coffee shop. I have one more but it is still in highly intuitive and lacks the harder calculations even with the counting methods. I suspect we can see a lot more from the WMAP if we shift from some of these coordinate systems. Why for example, even assuming a rigid brane do we assume they can be infinite in extent. Perhaps, in the quasic sense they are bounded in each pixel region. That is to say, they can be a tube or a torus or even a sphere. The hidden physics might be impossible to detect in the "tilt" of the polarizations, however this B thing seen could be possible- at least in theory if we actually find rings we could find somewhere nodes of some sort as crystalline but we may have to determine better which dimensions or hierachy of them applies.

Either in the Ekpyrotic or Eternal Inflation models we can find such M theory as not developed despite these as advanced cosmologies- and most likely because in a model that does not consider opaque or calyptic things like dark matter- in the metaphysics of it all, it the Mixmaster model (where directions can be planes or spheres as well as the "elongated cigar shapes") the engines of creation are still a matter of positive gender- just the two shrink while the other expands or vice versa. In effect we may ask if the M theory model can account for dark matter sorts of things- either way both theories can by science account for flatness- but as metaphysics a lot is lacking on the fundamental level- I mean, is the single element of the Chi Male or Neuter? Two to tango means the old yin and yang of things and as an abstract symbol can one flip it in some still higher form of space to observe the reverse symbol when there may be nothing higher even if we take these ideas of balance by the inclusion of shadow and inertial particles as a matter of reasoning?
