Quasiphysical Consciousness

Quasi-physical Consciousness

*1 - The Combinatorial Spectrum As with the general debate between the continuous and discrete, so too a spectrum and laws of colors meet. Globally, and locally there are the paradoxes of non-necessary relations.

*2 - The Mind as Singularity - The metaphysical principle (of Rowlands) of what exists and not-exists as all else (said of muons) is so defined together if coming into existence, especially with rules of chirality, applies at that interface of our awakened state and dreams.

*3 Deep Loops and Layden Jars - The mind as a principle of "induction" and "complex number amplification" including the accumulation of charge or the physical limits of a spinning system. This is also the possibility of a grounding in the replete and not absolutely empty vacuum.

*4 Carbon Chemistry and Atom Substitution- The transition between a sleep and awakened state has a corresponding chemical model that may be seen as the complete explanation as all the models are intelligible. We should expect to find such concrete explanations that do not necessarily encompass the whole picture.

*5 The general division- of the mind-brain into a topological model as to what is the dream and awakened state is mirrored by the fermion-boson structural context.

*6 The Discontents of Such Systems - Clearly this same interface can be cited as the source of mental states of confusion that may be expressed in the physical state in the awakened world.

*7 Mind and Dimensions - The reduction of a mental "field" or duplication or joining of its descriptions as if surface to volume depends on centers of combining. The most intense visions is between the state of sleep and awakening and is a flatland of the mirror of compressing dimensions. (Brane?)

*8 Particle Analogies to Heat - We still have to consider the brain-mind, and consciousness in itself, in relation to thermodynamics, its laws and entities and extensions beyond its laws in more complex or simpler directions. As well the compass of synchronicity and non-locality.

*9 Puzzle Piece and Intuitions - Consciousness may complete a picture by puzzle piece clues or by those left out in both a universal or existential viewpoint of their context describing, embedded in.

*10 Degrees of Freedom, Restrictions - In a dialectical way we can observe a reversal of levels of complexity as to degrees of freedom. A tetragonal crystal unit motif while more limited than a full spherical symmetry of a cube may combine to a larger set of such units arranged together.

*11 Super-elegant Backgrounds - the substance of something like consciousness or mass or gravity, even as a neutral context of descriptions, may oscillate in the combinatorial discrete spectrum in that beyond three space there are new senses of what is parity and chirality of the count and privileges possible of more axes.

*12 Intelligibility - There is an intelligible but not necessary connection implied between physical and opaque structures.

*13 Memory - The accrued measure of memory and awareness of teleology is a learning unto future action and the recovery of that memory so freely and easily set down requires much more energy to recover.

*14 Health - The physical repair (or chemical) which is caused by faith in a theory may cause more damage than healing.

*15 Quasi-determinism - Of chance and necessity, and of non-necessity, free will and determinism can also be quasi-deterministic. The accumulation of a scaffolding and edifice of quasi-deterministic structures may not (as learning) accrue irreversible errors yet may lead down several quasi-finite paths. (Not necessarily a question of one or multi-paths.)

*16 A specific individual- in all of these senses could be unique in all of reality and thus no clear justification that in the collective no person is special. This is not to say something like the notion we are specially created- yet the mechanisms of physics is rich enough to describe, even transcend such a level of diversity in the laws of nature.

* 17 It is not clear at all, when the opaque is the mirror to the real- , if in a sense all such theoretical entities are to be taken, if not as positive, as real- nor that hidden to be considered empty beyond a reflection. But in a sense a dream is a mirror and mirrors in mirrors and so on. In fact it can be vaguely thought of as a compact and centered mirror in the dream state on that side of it- as well the external reading may be as if a post-modern jumble and entropy of themes. It is not enough in philosophic dualism to define consciousness simply there evidenced by dream or awakened states- but to distinguish aspects in both states.

It occurs to me, that these concepts (inspired by Matti and Ulla's contemplations on consciousness) can have immediate application to many issues of what constitutes our best mental states- or better what is the cause of slower thriving in some of our children. Today the news showed the drawings of children raised more with insecticides (organo-phosphates) as not as coherent of others their own age not so exposed in the food or in the womb. We need to ask such questions from a more general physics a a deeper level. When the surface chemistry of atoms seem the same but others are substituted the volume effects shielded may yet have some influence on the topological and arithmetical development of at least the individual organism if not the species. Understanding of such physics may better let us understand our perceptions and concepts of law real or imagined as necessary to heed without and within. The chirality, a spurious distinction or not of matter and anti-matter for example, is not the only thing that describes some special global attributes of our bicameral brains.

  2. I cannot subscribe to what you say on this post. I don't want any comparisions to Rowlands. I have not read the book, as I told you before. I wrote a lengthy comment, but it disappeared in the posting, so maybe a short variant is as good.

I can discuss, if you take fewer questions at a time. But I don't want words laid in my mouth that I have not said. Nor Matti wants anything like that I think. I appreciate your curiosity, but not this.

    Your friend Ulla.

  3. Ulla,

Sorry, I am not quite clear on what you object to in this post. Anyway, I moved the footnote to a new post on this crisis of understanding any of the paths all the links has lead to lately.

As far as TGD goes, in the soul searching battle his stands up well for insight and originality.

Thank you for your comments, posted and virtual.
This was of course a metaphysical or philosophical interlude. I cannot stress enough the implications of your view of carbon in the genome, as he young Yuri who also commented with his more elementary a priori elegant theory.
