Fellows

Finding the right place in the technology, that and independent development has shown me where my education is lacking, the steps I assumed close to the foundations and elaborated on, and that the way science is taught can be an arbitrary bias if not outright wrong for some projects. I have had to go back to the books to catch up and understand our basic electronics projects where so much of our era of science began (think of Einstein in the early days of he patent office around new inventions) although my Dad was a great engineer he felt hampered by the higher math so in that sense his best teaching was having me take apart various electronic components- or building antennas,  I wish I had more time and yes budget but with greater theory things go rapidly.

Two things have come up synchronously in my current concerns of which I regard them as hints of what could develop and are very much understated.  These are connected in the brain and natural blog threads.  Some are concerned with the observation effect be it a matter of quantum stuff or some form of consciousness - for that some have suggested the solution is make your own internet.

The first is that form of particles that looks like my last musings and of which Lubos has a post also (of which he tries to cite people who in the past were the origins of the idea now that it is published and became fashionable (this precedence for special purposes cited other than it gives us a common name for effects I do not think is historical or viable outside the brackets of our current spacious now in principle)  Let us blame Harvard perhaps and science as political or social, or economic, collective or private.

The other aspect to be considered concerning the brain as computation,  parallel ideas from nature.  Is a bold attempt from IBM for a new programming language.

In these things at the frontier we surely can go deeper where they are intimately related - the question of what is needed to manufacture or program the hard and soft ware as well a better understanding of what the mind is (perhaps more than a quantum induction system- given this we can go further than the dramatic statement of a ten fold miniaturization and so on to higher spaces.  If we know, and can discern where the natural or artificial differences show up there will be ways to compensate this great ambiguity of material or mental dualism- autistic cures for example in the intelligent tinkering with say what is lacking in particular genes.

But I do not mean to add to the abstracts of abstracts of news nor be a node in how the knowledge is presented or used passed as news from my time place and circumstance.  One of the mysteries of QM is the sense that we all share something of science and wisdom.  As was said and I forget who... the Neanderthal gazing at the beauty of a sunset is in some ways the same person we are - at least for now, and we can be so much more than that.

Next Day - I find it amazing how electronic theory developed despite the lack of understanding of fundamental things such as Maxwell's  aether displacement currents and what a ground actually is.  Was Franklin wrong as to the flow of charges or is that somehow relative while we use, and fudge the seam formulas as best we can in an abstract two space?  In any case in reading the new text I plotted the five colors of the quasic plane for those needed to navigate in two space abstractly. I find it so obvious as to how we better map tables of binary conversion and the sense of spin or the asymmetry of the resulting image I notices before in this 7 or 8 bit 4 space generation pattern as if the turbines of the water flow analogy used to describe the simpler things in the theory.



Of course there are four more patterns 2 thru 5 in a fractal cyclic hierarchy  of which we may find interesting things and counts linear or  in spin or parallel/

as in my personal OTTO symbol ten fold of crescents much as the above pattern generalization or that of electron flow if free whatever the view as to what is magnetism displacement without light velocity as acceleration and so on thus virtual infinity, what perhaps is dark and what is our immediate measure and limits of thermodynamic and energy models in the deep symmetries and asymmetries of the concept of quasifinite inertia at the foundations.

Evidently, the representation of the general quasic brane in terms of symmetry and dimensions procedes as the odd integers, 9 colors for four space.  Of course in this abstract idea as the dimensions increase new systems relations arise... in particular, here as within a count of physical objects in arrangements we find spaces or Holes  (such as black holes) to which we need to further understand.   The hole in a genus 1 torus for example is on the outside save for a 2D slice thru it... such spaces seem disconnected from a different spatial view, in the diatorus brane where are such holes.  I raise this issue for the phenomenon of sentience- of ideas of intelligence real or artificial as in the viXra blog Brain Power thread.  That there can be a place that contains or has the space to contain the soul abstractly does not mean such a metaphysical entity is contained therein... but it does show the wider possibilities of physical effects such as for black holes or other hidden space creative processes.

In the quasic idea of indefinite boundaries it makes little sense to ask if in such regions something leaks out for at the foundations it goes nowhere nor does it establish a conservation of incoming or outgoing forces between regions, nor establishes on solid grounds the relationship of entropy, isolated systems, and foundations of possible other thermodynamic symmetry laws.   Scale if relative, as Jonathon mentions on that blog is not an overwhelmingly vast infinite number while he says if there is leaking the potential must be enormous.  Infinity in this sense is a little uncertainty in the distinction of potential or indefinite infinity.  In the hierarchy of effects, fractal and holographic like, a gain or reduction of dimension is a gain in symmetry as well places where it is reduced.

Perhaps a hint of the wider advanced vision of which I am more interested in the technology than the paradoxes and debate of evolving universes and theology...    facebook status    the math began with this more unified vision from recent post ideas... such as physical results from concrete n-dimensional printing and the questions on fb in my comments to Sabine H  link to ultimate process that some fear could ignite the sun...    status:
The most complicated and powerful thing in the universe is the mind, even more that the complexity of our biology. An organism can create new baby universes from new beginnings but a mental being can create multiverses which makes a branching evolving model an understatement of imagination, we can create universes as such but in terms of struggle and survival at the heart of it this raises much deeper theological issues which probably are just issues of similarity and replication less than what we still need to know about ourselves and each other. Some interesting but simple experiments also like new antennas and transmission systems to access the wider space beyond what we now imagine the ground state of physics of the universe.  It also had some implications for the field causes and cures for the illusive concept of things like developmental autism and so on...

Orwin, that is a most interesting and fresh approach.  After all when it comes to the sense of smell it is more complicated as if we can make very fine distinctions on chemical structures.  It is amazing to me the sixth taste was not named until rather recently some I think in Japanese like MSG sensing.  It just cannot be as simple as six degrees of freedom in an ensemble of gasses.  I imagine that within a small system, the spacious now or the breath of a quantum bra-ket we have causation of what is preceded by x , a range of z's may follow.  But outside the brakets or the now causation is logically just an historical fiction.  I wonder also if ideas of a difference of  dimension not only defines the boundary of a material object but constitutes it materiality... a theme used in science fiction.  In any case such a developing system if the terms are set down these can result in closed loops which short of a full higher space limits the information to spinning entities...perhaps a cycle here deeper than whatever is broken that defines entropy in isolation as cyclic temperature (or time).  The speculation the 20 involved in Dirac's algebra corresponds to the 20 amino acids as in Peter Rowlands (and my own independent ideas starting with n-D n-symmetry in 1964, the bilateral symmetry important) is now  common speculation as to the unity of biology and physics.  We are as organisms a compressed shadow of such higher structures.

The idea of quasi-sufficiency asks (of the physical properties of Higgs as dynamic biological analogy) not only Turing like if a large but finite sequence will halt, terminate as well as initiate a structural phenomenon.
On the viXra blog Jonathan asked the fundamental question why are there particle generations to which a reply to him was rather standard from the valid but insufficient statistical view.  For such a view that only sees the result of indefinite initiation we can assume life can be maintained on the pink goo made from stem cells and there are no qualitative consequences for extended human life in such everlasting stances of expansion.  If we take the quantum view as a measure of ignorance should we not as just what or who it is that is ignorant?

Ben replies he thought the situation was part of the patterns of geometry, which also is a valid but insufficient view... both things need deeper foundations.  Statistical views have the power of observation that in fact nature is how it is although we do not seem to explain why on a deep enough level.  Surely it is abstract as in the string theory we have colors and flavors that are named that only as a metaphor we come close to understand as if there is say a literal idea of spin as quantum spin.  One view leans too much to reduction and the other to what some vaguely object to as obsolete classical bias so constraining progress.

A. suggests the four color theorem applies to our debates on the blog and that certainly seems the case in the general application of combinatorial theory - An approach Marni and others had the deep intuition and insight to suggest we explore although there is something about such easy 101 geometry that escapes the comprehension of theorist otherwise fluent in their mathematical language and training to the point at times they have to defend that position as strongly as those who initiate a project of new general theories of everything or try objectively to teach the subject to others.

Perhaps the illustration above will be too abstract for readily grasping as it involves the algebra, or it involves the geometry, or it is not in the language of those who have gone before us with household or obscure names pinned to refer to the principles involved.  Yet one should at least be familiar with the spirit of it for in such visualization we come closer to that which in depth awakens to us as different or obvious.

I would answer Jonathan that the three or four generation view is intrinsic to nature, that it is at least the properties not clearly defined or discovered of the projective plane (as a quasic plane, as the distinction that can be made among the landscape of what is the central reality of all such models, why there is "Brane Cancer" as a mixture of the states that go beyond the simple pair production, the dimers that divide a plane intelligibly. It is in the stable mixtures that statistics seems to apply in the algebra as well the certainty of structure between the absolute of unity or zero as existence or not.

In the shadows what from one view seems necessity at a certain level of complexity  (I mean when we consider where three generations are projectively possible in an 8 x 8 collection of points or singularities the number is much larger than the 4 x 4 case yet is relatively small in general.) we find the roles of what we consider as sufficient or as necessity reversed or existing as phenomena mixed in between these stable views that in principle may absolutely exclude each other.  Duality, and the obvious algebraic extension in the computation and application of groups as some space a product of the Cyclic group and so on simply cannot be applied with good results from a rigid concept of the totality that results.  Group theory in this sense should be generalized so as to tell us more than the mere tautology of what we already know uncertainly.

Now, ponder the intuition counting diagrams as these are actually notations... we see moreover the ordering between the elements of such matrices may indeed be in different ordering paths so as say to apply where it is first defined as a unique sequence say the Klein group between four objects as part of the picture or some point of departure for other free systems.  Note that if we imagine the 16 x 16 case which should be a rather large number some my prefer to generate by polar methods and angles and such, we can have surprising results more than the simple three generation case can picture or possess... and so on.

The state of what appears a foundational confusion between the Loop Quantum and String Theory fronts seems well expressed by Lubos from his stance on the general issue.

He mentions the quality of media for the documentary presented and comments from his general view on the content as to what are its errors and hidden assumptions.  Such countering criticism works both ways as well as holding the high ground on general principles.

The debate, the object of which in polemics is to win usually by the will or quality of the debater's method, may raise issues in other parallel disciplines of culture such as religion where it is used as an analogy to communicate physics to assumed equals and the masses.

He ignores observations that I understand as facts that suggest the universe is in fact in its depth crystalline or hearing of this has good reasons to keep a skeptical stance- if he has encountered the idea at all. 

In religion the issue of a dynamic direction as if the world created by "Jesus Christ" applies here as a physics and not metaphysical principle- so as part of the discussion we can say objectively that it is likely "The age of Jewish or that from the German culture is over" which is to say we could use some speculation by the theologists as to what are the variations on the not directly expressed idea of the great divisive idea of the Trinity.  This if we have to address these ideas as it seems arise more and more from various authors in the body of literature.

Let me add that in the family tree of prophets we should ask what is beyond the Trinity idea- that is do we dismiss the next one in the history of the people of the book- these questions that seem to ask what happens at some end time (big bounce, crunch, new heaven and earth, vanishing to be reborn once or cyclically and so on) as a unity again such as the gathering  of the people of Israel as evidence for the (Christian, messianic) end times...does the vase now come together for a unity again so as to shore up the first monotheism over charges of polytheism?
Is the universe in its ground state one or many?

I do not mean to pick on 'our humble correspondent' but turn about is fair play especially when theoreticians who break off debate and dialog dismiss say women as being able to contribute to science in its highest reaches...The article begins Sabine and that led me to read it carefully to try to see his case. But to Lubos credit he sees nothing inherently wrong for those of us who try to resolve the LQG and ST camps into a coherent dynamic theory.

The main thesis I wanted to address here was not this cultural or political issues in the science but one inspired by my own thoughts where the mechanisms of biology seem to benefit from these abstract theories of physics. If the Higgs mechanism idea may behave as if parallel in geometric and arithmetical analogy to the biological DNA structure then what do we generally mean by Cancer in the Three-Space or Trinitarian world?  How we define it may determine how well we can treat say 'inoperable brain cancer' an issue in more than a few people I have met over the last couple of decades commanding my attention.

This is also an issue that related to the general question of what and why the particle generations are as in the most general (and quasic model) all such generations can be seen as equivalent or if differentiated over the equally hard concept of time each coherent biological organism could have three distinct viable copies if its integrated design as physical. Furthermore we know in the initial case of what is the end and head of sufficiently symmetrical animals it can as well develop from the reverse directions.

But we know, quite aside from what the sequences of viruses may do or even of the inherited genes that like some of our cosmology postulates we can have subsystems such as systemic skin cancer only relating that tissue or geometrical differentiated boundaries.  Why do the tumors seem to be contained before metastasis? 

One question that occurred to me in a flash at 6:17 or so was to question what something like black holes as baby universes mean when the cells leave the mother-ship. I can imagine questions of energy involved where we distribute in the expanding daughter cells that which was contained in the mechanism of the core to which from consideration (as of late interpretations of the physics of Tesla for example) we may ask if the standard wave radiation (and what stray particle or wave might have initiated the tumor?) may not work or actually induce in the center that which would have otherwise gone into looping remission.

The same sorts of well, metaphysical, questions can be asked of chemicals (chemotherapy) as well where we depend on some experimentally tested to the point say it has cost benefit of killing more diseased cells than healthy ones to engineer or discover the right magic bullet.  Can we not do it as far as possible by thought as well as physical stuff in our experiments?  One geneticists at the local university would talk to me so far but had to stop because he said "I don't know what you mean by DNA algorithm."  I do not mean this as a view from preoccupation within this age of computation- in fact the use of the metaphors that apply only on the surface of what intrinsically computes in the molecules I find a misleading use of what would be the best terms.

By the way Lubos... many of us in our "childhoods" read one two three infinity by Gamow and so was inspired to physics, especially the few string theorists I have met... it is worth saying in general regardless of the recognized achievements of those with theories.  But this was not the only influential book I read at the time... especially the works of Klein and Hoyle.  Ours was especially an age where we come to the silver screen the science fiction and comic books we of fanzines dreaming of supermen and silver surfers.

A precursor thought to this one of today was the idea in the accepting of singularities (as if our own laws can wish them out of existence) is that any historical thread may contain some model given enough time yet at any point in that thread (if we go beyond the absolute ideas of limits to continuity or some zero point that turns off or forbids, even moves certain models) that each "point" contains all such history such that what may happen given enough time has in a sense already happened.  For the scientist this still leaves the question of the thigh gap between what we stand on and what seems the gateway of creative origins. 

What is Euler's constant in all this for example?  What is the coherence of the Planck value if it is a minimum zero measure in the field- or if it is a quasifinite and indefinite measure (now Lubos, would uncertainty in QM not be the ground of the indefinite to which classical ideas for you vanish?)Could you not imagine, as long ago also, QM itself in that sense has long vanished?  Where is your own satisfaction if string theory only leaves in the footnotes and footprints of history its spirit and inspiration by shadows of its methods?

By the way: the idea that all things are interconnected or that they are completely not can be in the general case considered postulates that ground mysticism in metaphysics or physics.  Yet, that there can be a system in between excluding or mixing these conceptual limits as if a proof or not as possible and that an intelligible grounding for a cosmological model is subtly of itself a mysticism. However, the description of the world is wider and richer as to what we can know of it and apply science within it than the extreme biases as how we do science now. 

It is an open question if a sentient entity isolated in a room or region as a given or with emerging connections to what may be its parts in evolving physical possibilities, the entity deaf and blind without external senses may after all image and recreate a model of all things possible in physical reality or more.  As things can develop from first principles intelligible theories may reflect on the surface coherent models but these can be matters of degree of relevance and specific to limited series at evolving nodes of decision.  Not all such theories contain deeper interconnections or parallels of a given truth nor any theory from some view isolated in its possibilities, imagination unrestrained.  Still, these behave as if a shadow of the deeper connections of which we can for example imagine say in a phase space entity the part corresponding as if toward a greater truth of the whole.  We sense the proximity of such philosophic paradoxes and interpretations to which we may think the question of what is artificial or natural as life or intelligence has given us a certainty of the picture.

This said, we are at a point in comprehension of concepts  where the foundations show this mystery of what is alive to ask about or why some things seem certain and physical or why statistical data may be effective in our predictions and research; that there is the reality at all of such quasifinite things in the indefinite potential infinity and that we can describe making sense of them.  How far may we probe our universe and if there can be more than it ever open or closed is at least more that we need to explore in the universe of our discourse and reason.

Given an area of exploration as a formal science, this would suggest further work in systems of biological levels as a delineated totality in looping environs - that is for cancer a better understanding of the general physics between the bifurcation and superpositions of the influences of genes and chromosomes (in suppression or expression, the cell integration or differentiation needing a little deeper mathematics) in particular.

Quasic Superconductivity in Cosmic Strings

Orwin, if I read you right I think you are the first person who understand the implications of my own thinking and model.  To relate it to superconductivity (such as in the symmetry breaking in proposed cosmic strings) is not only a deep question but an obvious question I wish my spirit was strong enough to see in a flash all principles among all such connections. Even the best of theorists, in physics and mathematics, come so close to an idea later historians wonder why they did not take that one small step to prove or discover the next idea.

The quasic grid as an n-dimensional n-symmetric plane or brane can be imagined as two space. Our concepts of structural conformality can have abstract interpretations, the laying down of principles such as what seems to emerge from information contained if we represent this plane in three space.  The idea of mass or gravity being a relativistic illusion of the angles involved where geometry is non-Euclidean is such an idea that we restrict in terms of what is the continuous or the discrete where these loosely meet between these 1 or 0 extremes as contiguity thus issues of proximity of unified focus and grounding for entanglement over non-locality.

I offer a photograph of a random chunk of glass against the reference grid of a window screen to show variations in how we see the grid broken into its three space connections if reduced again to a 2D photo.  This variation of intrinsic curvature, or of what in the transfinite count is such a difference is what makes the usual methods of analogy to fluids and so on fit what we accept or perceive in natural physics.  We generalize the intrinsic curvature as force that covers a wider landscape of what is possible in cosmology for a natural philosophy (physics of the corpuscular discrete or wave like continuity). 

Thus we organize our world quasifinitely by a better definition of dimensions, by n finite object content, and the ideas of general continuum transfinite theory (that is the DNA notation).  Does this not suggest the issues of a multiverse and our stances toward it?  Does it not beg for questions of depth of assumptions as to the so called fine tuning of a unified universe?  Surely, this makes things a little clearer despite the complexity of which we know seems the choice of nature.

In these models we surely have wider and corresponding connections of depth between general theories which we accept or not as we do higher dimensions, superstrings, surreal numbers, p-adics, higher modular numbers and so on...

If we imagine some power of ten in the 500's as points of singularity where continuity may be erected upon continuity as division intelligibly is restricted by contiguous hierarchies of numbers...can we not say a diffuse grid of them contained at that value would be a p-adic map of the string landscape?

Proximity of positions diffuse and transitive over a grid or landscape, quasi-independent of congruency and definite measures, Archemedian in the meshing, shows that Nature can restrict intelligibly the properties applied as if numbers, that of itself in its working, and beyond the partial concepts of matrix values as described by rotations or exponentiation and simple ways of apply the ideas of differentiation to some physical asymptotic limits or horizons, suggests that nature can have weights of privilege in its expressed properties.  This would suggest that in the small ranges over the infinite the universe itself is stable while the rare possibility can exist that at some time or place its unity can unravel into more general principles than in our time and place we so specify.

The question of why the universe exists rather than not, that it achieves the widest possible complexity in the design and in our imaginations, that it exists more as quasi-finite thus everlasting rather than eternal, remains ultimately the issue of quasi-proof astronomically for or against in the fine tuning idea we encounter in science as well as philosophy. In the sense of our desire or wonder to so ask this question as our understand evolves, we part of this design as a quasi-creative and quasi-finite universe we ask of our unique experiences as well of the uniqueness of the universe.

In the photo of the smoke and rings, distinct particulates, we could have moving tori... and we can still ask why of hot fusion containment such structures in the quantum like logic of advanced development of its postulates between existence and shadows, what is the ground for plasma pinching?  Perhaps we need a wider idea of chaos and turbulence as well as what their is, or at least to connect it to our quantum grounding.
